This BBQ joint is cute. The cooking is done inside a small camper trailer. Oh you can smell the food about a 1/2 mile away. The outside is the dining area. They do have a roof in case it rains. The food here is very good. We ate the pulled pork and ribs. Both were fantastic! The sides were tasty too. I had the beans and cornbread. They have a funny rule upon entering, open until 8 or 9 or until sold out. We want there on a Thursday night and they were sold out! So they were closed. But we did go back! Good stuff don't miss it.

Awesome and authentic. One of the coolest places to eat in Lake city, with not one low point on their menu. Equal to any Barbecue place I've been in Texas.

Finally real BBQ like back home. The food is great, I especially liked the Ribs and the potato salad. My wife had brisket and said it was as good as any she had. It was crowded, but the service was really good and very nice. They even gave my son a free Frisbee! Get there early like we did, I hear they sell out every day.

First time in Lake City and the vibrant red of the Frontier BBQ was calling us! A log awning welcomes the passerby off the sidewalk to picnic tables. We ordered a brisket sandwich and fall-off-the-bone tender ribs with a very tasty sauce. Super nice people run this charming business and the price is reasonable for a really good meal.

Love the food here. The restaurant setup is cool and unique. Owners are very friendly and their food is great! We had tried pretty much everything in the menu - brisket, ribs, smoked turkey, pulled pork, sausage and their sides - mac & cheese, potato salad, beans, and coleslaw. All great! Definitely a great establishment in Lake City! They are closed for the winter but looking forward to when they come back in the Spring. Yay!
